Always concerned about the emergence of new national talent, Oman Air will sponsor the motorcycle race driver Al Harty for the 2011 season. In June 2010, Oman Air and Malaysian Airlines have signed a codeshare opening more international destinations to their clients. The passengers of Oman Air, which currently can go to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, will now join four other destinations in Malaysia (Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Penang and Kuching), and two new destinations in Asia (Singapore and Hong Kong) . In return, passengers from Kuala Lumpur will travel to Amman, Kuwait City, Beirut and Dubai via Muscat.

Oman Air provides four direct flights a week between Paris (CDG 2A) and Muscat, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. It is the only airline flying to Muscat flight direct non-stop flights from Paris aboard an A330-300 configured in three-class (Economy Class, Business Class and First Class).

The punctuality rate of Oman Air exceed 95% and continue to improve.

In November 2009, Oman Air has unveiled its new Airbus A330 aircraft configured in three-class: Economy Class, Business Class and First Class. Each service class has a high quality of comfort, plenty of space and an entertainment program on board that offers audio and video on demand and live television via satellite.
